CV

I completed my medical studies at the Medical University of Zagreb, Croatia in 1986. Subsequently, I worked for four years as a general practitioner in Zagreb.

Between 1991 and 1994 I was employed as a scientific researcher at the Department of Dermatology of the Medical University of Vienna. The objective of my research was photodynamic therapy. In 1994 I started my training in dermatology, which I completed in 2002. In 2006 I became an associate professor of dermatology and senior staff physician and started teaching students and residents. Teaching, along with the clinical research has remained one of my favourite activities.

Working in the field of dermatology for over 25 years has given me the possibility to continuously expand my knowledge about skin diseases and their treatment.
